The Shimano FX XT Spinning is made of a mixture of materials, namely Carbon XT30 and Fiberglass, a material that offers stiffness, high compression force and durability and serves to build very good quality reeds at an affordable price.
The butt is split and has two points of non-slip EVA material. The guides are stainless Shimano Hardlite.
